Laura Lilia is an alumnus of the University of North Texas Radio, TV & Film program and the National Association of Broadcasting Media Sales Institute.With extensive on set experience Laura is available to work for hire on film, television and online media productions.Within the last few years, she received several awards from various film festivals, including the Jurors' award at Chick Flicks 2011, for her work in directing the bilingual film THE LONG RUN. Torres also had her fair share of video racing over the last 10 years; First Place Winner at the 'Dallas 24 hour video race', the Audience Choice Award of the '48hour dash', and the '48 hours of hell video race' to name a few. After years of working on films, festivals, and multi-media projects out of Dallas, Austin and Chicago, she returned home to her native Rio Grande Valley.Laura Lilia Torres is an independent motion picture director, producer, and entrepreneur and can be found leading the RGV Film Society all across the valley.
