Description
I recently moved back to Austin and want to pursue work in the film industry. I have 17 years of experience working in some form of production:
• For 14 years I have been a Freelance Wardrobe Stylist for photoshoots (Clients: Nordstrom, Getty Images, PetSmart, etc.) and assisted in the overall visual creation for photoshoots, along with planned out the logistics of locations, merchandise, props, budgets, returns, etc.
• For the past 3 years, I have worked with SXSW as a Contract Producer (Talent: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Shia LaBeouf, Henry Rollins, RZA, David Gordon Green, etc.) for their Video Production Department (live-stream video, interview and conference recordings, etc). I stage managed, talent wrangled, oversaw a video crew, created callsheets, etc.
• I was on staff at South by Southwest (SXSW) for 2 years as a Sponsorship Production Manager (Sponsors: General Motors, Miller Brewing Co., PepsiCo., Microsoft, AOL, Monster Energy, etc.) and handled logistics of locations, product placement, permits, schedules, etc.
• In addition, I was an Advertising Account Executive (Clients: Jim Beam Brands Co. and NASCAR) at Young & Rubicam Chicago and managed a creative, travel, and production departments and a budget of $30 million dollars.
I would like the opportunity to utilize my producing, budgeting, wardrobe, and set design skills in the film industry. I am logistical, detailed-oriented, hard-working, and always keep a positive energy during stressful times. I thrive on working in a fast-paced atmosphere while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
I’m excited about my industry move and look forward to being an asset to a film crew.
