The Edge of Imagination Station is an interactive and mobile stop motion animation studio complete with custom work spaces and software. Participants of any age, skill level, and ability can create their own animated short using chalk, paper, clay, dry erase markers and more.Johnny Villarreal is a visual artist, animator, and educator. His multimedia background has enabled him to connect people of various interests and abilities to pixels and pigments. He has taught classes in painting, drawing, screen printing, sculpture, digital art, animation, and video production to students in K-12, young adults, and families. Over the last nine years he has led workshops and classes in public and private schools, museums, community centers, and festivals in and around Texas. He has been included on the Texas Touring Artist Roster since 2014 and recently collaborated on a music video that won “Best Animation” at the Madrid International Film Festival 2017.
