Description
I’m Stef Schultz, also known as “Sharky”—a dynamic and multifaceted Production Designer, Logistics Coordinator, and Camera Operator/Videographer with over seven years of hands-on experience in commercial, broadcast, and independent productions across Texas and beyond. I’ve worked in key markets including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Waco, as well as on national projects in Los Angeles, CA and Florida.
My production credits include work with high-profile brands and award-winning studios such as VISA, Adidas, Paramount, and the BBC. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with major production houses like Troublemaker Studios (twice) and Austin Studios (Queer Eye), and I spent a full year on staff at the award-winning South Coast Media Services in Houston. In 2021 - 2022, I served roles on the set of Liza on Demand and the Emmy-winning series "The Bay" in Los Angeles.
In addition to my primary roles, I bring a well-rounded production background that includes:
-Working as a Lighting Technician with IATSE Local 205 in Austin
-Serving as Associate Producer and Camera Operator at Austin Public TV
-Contributing as a Reporter, Voice Actor, Producer, and Editor at Local TV 4 in Murphy, NC
-Freelancing as Best Boy Grip & Electric, Camera Operator, and Teleprompter Tech at South Coast Media Services in Houston - and more!
I’m known for working with a strong sense of urgency, safety and security on set, for keeping a positive attitude, and the ability to move fluidly between departments — from concept to camera to post-production, on both sides of the camera. My creative vision, logistical expertise, and collaborative spirit make me a reliable and versatile asset to any production team.
