Joe Rothenberg Animation is the Austin-based animation studio behind Nickelodeon's GUMWAD ISLAND, the Annie-nominated musical short LADIES KNIGHT, and the darkly satirical thriller RED TAPE. The studio specializes in its signature "Animation With Character" for clients large and small and occasionally for its own diabolical purposes. Joe Rothenberg Animation's work has delighted audiences on major television networks, on countless websites including Netflix and Hulu, in film festivals, and in theaters around the world.Joe Rothenberg is an award-winning filmmaker and animator with numerous credits in theatrical, broadcast, interactive and web-based productions. He is the creator of two Nickelodeon-affiliated productions (GUMWAD ISLAND, STICKY THE STICK), three entertainment apps on the App Store (NERDY WORKOUT, NOBODY SAID IT WAS EASY, GRUMPLY: PENGUIN STICKERS), dozens of animated commercial productions, and exactly one tap-dancing horse in a tuxedo. An alumni of the University of Southern California, Joe now resides in Austin, Texas.
