Johnathan Paul is an American producer, writer and director. He is best know for the award winning documentary films Hustler of Providence (2015), The Great Hanging (2017). He is also known for working on TV Series Coyote (2020) and Fairview Chronicles (2019). He began his career in 2001 as a comic book artist and illustrator then moved into 3D animation, Game Development and experimental film. By 2012 he made the transition into documentary film and has sense worked as a producer of fiction and non-fiction productions in film and television.He currently co-owns a production company with long time collaborator screenwriter, Producer, and Tv Showrunner Josh Gilbert (Who's Line is it Anyway, Borat, Mr. Woodcock, and Coyote).Alongside working as a full-time producer Johnathan is also a novelist and Professor at the University of North Texas, where he teaches game design, visual effects, screenwriting, and producing.
