I am a technical artist and animator, and a graduate of the UT Dallas Arts and Technology program with a minor in Computer Science. I have most recently worked as a crowds artist and animator at Rooster Teeth Productions on two of their series, "RWBY" and "gen:LOCK". I worked on a team of 5 to create background crowd character animations that would be used to fill scenes and create atmosphere. Software used included: Autodesk Maya, Houdini FX, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Shotgun StudioGeneral duties included: Motion capture recording, motion capture cleaning, animation retargeting, hand-keyed animation, Houdini crowd simulations, animation caching, simulation troubleshooting, compositing rendersMy focus while in school was in technical animation, although I do not have any professionally published work in this field. I worked on the animated short "Squatch", as well as a a few alpha-stage game projects, doing character rigging and tool scripting using Maya. I also did freelance commercial work as a character animator using Blender.
