Neal Allen Line Producer/Production Manager/AD
Neal Allen combines a passion for the latest cutting-edge technologies with a wealth of knowledge gathered from a career spanning 30 years in media production and management. Allen specializes in documentary, IMAX immersive 3D production and is deeply experienced with nearly all the media formats and technology ranging from 35mm and 65mm (3D) film, UHD, 4K, 6.5K, 8K, infrared, ultra-high-speed and CGI/VFX and on to emerging immersive formats such as virtual reality (VR) and Cloud Point Image Capture (CPIC).
Allen’s credits span some of the most innovative 3D projects created to date, such as Sea Monsters 3D (National Geographic), Siegfried and Roy 3D (IMAX), Mysteries of the Unseen Universe 3D (Nat Geo), and key role son 4D projects such as Men in Black 4D, Haunted Lighthouse 4D (Sea World), Sea Monsters 4D (Nat Geo), Panda 3D (IMAX/Warner Bros), Arabia 3D (IMAX), and Mystic India (LF).
In addition to his technological production savvy, Allen has spent the last 15 years working in complicated environments around the globe. His work has taken him from Cambodia and the DMZ separating North and South Korea, to Israel, the rainforests of Brazil, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and India – just to name a few. Allen has also completed two 3D giant screen immersive projects in China for Warner Brothers and IMAX.
Recently, Neal worked in Kuwait on the special venue 170-degree movie, “Liberation” for the Al-Salam Museum for Amiri Diwan.
A member of the Directors Guild of America, Allen has worked for a longlist of industry stalwarts including Warner Brothers, HBO, Miramax, Universal Studios, Disney, MacGillivray Freeman Films, National Geographic, IMAX, ABC and Tom Hanks’ Playtone.
