FILM & TELEVISION PRODUCTION COORDINATOR // JANUARY 2008 PRESENT
‣ Breakdown of scripts to ascertain crew and equipment needs, budgetary constraints, and to acquire clearances, filming locations, and all necessary permits.
‣ Manage logistics, contracts and agreements including rental of camera gear, post-production facilities, wardrobe, grip & electric gear, vehicles, cranes and heavy equipment, locations, and booking of freelance artists.
‣ Incorporate studio-specific technologies and practices into production and post¬-production workflows.
‣ Conceptualize and coordinate buildout of sound stages, warehouse, mill and office space – with a focus on efficiency, workable timelines, and adherence to municipal ordinances.
‣ Ensure front office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.
‣ Track expenses and reconcile billing between production vendors and accounts payable.
‣ Submit reports and maintain records of insurance claims, worker’s compensation and property loss.
‣ Produce compliance requests and data reports for labor unions and professional guilds such as IATSE locals, SAG-Aftra, and the Director’s Guild of America.
‣ Coordinate all aspects of talent and above-the-line crew member travel, transportation, and lodging accommodations.
