My name is Than Zaw Oo, or TZO, and I’m a Dallas-based filmmaker with a deep passion for cinematography. Originally from Mae La, a refugee camp in Thailand, I moved to the U.S. at the age of ten. That transition introduced me to filmmaking and sparked a lifelong appreciation for visual storytelling that has shaped my entire career.Driven by that early connection, I pursued my craft and earned a BFA from The University of Texas at Arlington.
