Tori Rose works as a production designer, art director, set dresser, and production assistant. She also volunteers for other film related organizations including Austin Entertainment Business and is on the board of Women in Film and Television Austin. She worked as an Office Production Assistant on Jeff Nichols' film The Bikeriders (2024) and was the Production Designer/Set Dresser for Allen Danzinger's The Weedhacker Massacre (2024) and the Art Director for I've Always Hated My Brother (2025). Some past commercial clients include Indeed, Ford, Apartment Therapy, and Texas WIC.She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Southwestern University where she received the 2017 Laura Kuykendall Communication Student of the Year Award. In 2017, Tori achieved a Master of Arts from Texas State University in the same field with a focus on Qualitative and Rhetorical research in Critical Media Studies with a focus on film. Tori also works in academic research currently studying presenteeism (working while sick) and intersectionality in media. She co-authored an article called, "#RepresentationMatters on TV: A critical textual analysis of intersectional representation at work on NBC's Superstore," in the communication journal Feminist Media Studies. Representation is an important part of film making for her as watching her own identities in media spurred her love for the art form and inspired her to pursue a career in media production.
