Scott Szabo is an award-winning composer for 6 nationally syndicated TV series including “Divorce Court” (2022 - present), the game show “25 Words or Less” (2019 – present), TV movies for Viacom and Paramount, the episodic drama “5th Ward” for AMC’s Urban Movie Channel, and more than 20 feature films. In 2021 Scott won Best Music Soundtrack for the documentary “Moonshot: The Remarkable Journey of the Apollo Chamber Players”. In 2015 Scott won Best Original Music Award at the Houston Comedy Film Festival for the feature film "Doll Factory". In 2009, Scott won a Telly Award for his music in the short film “Saving Evan White” and won a Gold Medal in 2005 at the Park City Film Music Festival for his score of “Dancing In Twilight”.As a sound designer, sound editor, and 5.1 surround mixer, Scott has provided his skills to more than 60 award-winning feature films, documentaries, and short films for both domestic and international distribution. His more than 30 years’ experience as a location sound mixer doing narrative, reality, documentary, and commercials have culminated in in being nominated for Best Sound of a Documentary for the BBC by the Royal Television Society (BAFTA) in the UK.
