"San Angelo Regional Airport also known as Mathis Field is the only commercial airport serving the Concho Valley. The airport is owned by the City of San Angelo and is classified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a commercial primary, non-hub airport. More than 150 aircraft are based at Mathis Field. In addition to the tower, the airport offers three intersecting runways and a full range of instrument approach options. The runways are open for operations 24 hours per day and service commercial, private and military aviation."
