The Old Central Firehouse was one of the first fire stations in San Angelo, built in 1929, this historical building has been recently renovated and brought back to life. The outside is beautiful with its landscaping which includes an actual 1958 Seagraves firetruck.The inside has a historic feel with old photos and fire memorabilia located throughout, while offering all of today's modern comforts. The Bed & Brew has four rooms, each with their own feel and unique character. The original wood floors have been restored and original red brick exposed throughout.The building has a red metal roof that can be seen throughout downtown with windows and doors highlighted in red and a tower (where back in the day, fire hoses were laid out to dry). The Firehouse backs up to the Firefighters Memorial City Park, with the Concho River on the backside, the park features a mosaic firetruck and a statue of a firefighter. The Firehouse is within walking distance to many of the things that make San Angelo so great.
