Old Alamo School

The Alamo School was constructed in 1911 and has been important physical and cultural landmark in the Northside residential neighborhood. Maintained as a school building through the 1980s, rather than demolish it, it was converted into a beautiful and functional public library in the early ‘90s. The library later moved to the Palestine mall and the property remained vacant. In the fall of 2018, the Old Alamo School was beautifully renovated into an industrial style work space for the local company, Pentecom.
