With construction of the shell and core completed, AFS has opened the Creative Media Center at Austin Studios. The adapted former Armory building will feature 15,000 Sq. Ft. of leasable office space situated around a central lobby and shared meeting, screening, and break room amenities; Stage 7 includes 23,500 Sq. Ft. of production space. Fronting Tilley Street, the building is framed by native grass lawns, courtyards, and a public art installation. The project is a result of a partnership with the City of Austin, who provided $5.4MM in 2012 Bond Funds for design and initial construction.
