Historic Downtown Dalhart is a busy retail center with beautifully preserved brick streets. Many of the buildings in Downtown Dalhart were built between 1901 and 1914. Downtown also features a historic courthouse (Dallam County) which is still in use and a beautifully restored La Rita Theater which has an interior to match the era it was built in.
