The Alpine Adobe is located in the heart of downtown Alpine, TX. It was originally built in 1930 by artist, Elizabeth Keefer Boatright. There are two of her murals in the entryway of the Alpine Adobe, those are sacred.
It also has an amazing kiva in the living room and temple doors. We closed on the house in April 2022 and have been working hard at remodeling it. We are finally finished with the interior, now working on the exterior. The Alpine Adobe is on a creek with a large yard, fire pit and meat smoker. We love our Alpine Adobe—it’s walkable distance the train depot, courthouse, True Value, to great restaurants like Reata, art galleries and there's plenty of space for families (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). We are still working on decor. We are looking forward to sharing our home with friends that love it as much as we do.
