As one of two public dog parks in The American Dream City, Tails 'N Trails offers a range of activities for residents and their dogs to exercise and socialize. Pet owners rave about this lovely off-leash dog park, which is fully fenced with drinking water and both wooded and open areas. The park is open for your enjoyment during daylight hours at no charge. Tails 'N Trails recently underwent improvement projects that were completed in July 2020. The Arlington City Council approved funding to build an additional dog paddock at the 5.7-acre park. Other recently completed improvements include enhancements such as new fencing, grading, stormwater infrastructure improvements, electrical, lighting, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, benches, pet waste stations, a drinking fountain for the dogs, and a sidewalk linking the new paddock to the Arlington Animal Services Center. Wooded area improvements provide additional off-leash shaded areas, in conjunction with the new dog paddock area. The Tails 'N Trails Dog Park is closed each Tuesday until 12:00p for maintenance.
