Description:
Cottonwood Park is located on the northeastern shores of Lewisville Lake. Along the shoreline, you will find picnic tables and space for fishing. Just outside the parks entrance are hiking trails including Cottonwood Trail as well as Cottonwood Sports Complex which hosts softball and Baseball games. A public playground is accessible at all times and there are public restrooms located within Cottonwood Sports Complex. Cottonwood Park is currently undergoing renovations which are set to be complete in the early months of 2025. The newly renovated park will include two wedding venues that give that Lakefront charm, and classic lighthouse look overlooking the lake that Little Elm is known for. Day pavilions will be available to rent along the shoreline which will include picnic tables and grills. An additional playground will be located inside of the park as well as restrooms throughout. Cottonwood Creek Marina is located within Cottonwood Park. Cottonwood Creek Marina offers boat slip rentals, boat and jet-ski rentals, and a ships store that is open year-round.
