Description:
AMPHITHEATER 6900 SEAT/LIMESTONE On September 28, 1937 the area along a curbing hillside, along which the stone seating would follow, was staked. The amphitheater was built by the Public Works Administration and completed in 1938. It was originally designed to seat 3,000, but the scope of the project was doubled to accommodate more than 6,000.
